Coach Chevalier returns for his fourth year as the Hawks' Offensive Coordinator. Over the last three seasons, Chevalier has been instrumental in the development of All-State Running Backs Jonathan Calderon '05 (currently playing at the University of Maine) and Darius Kinney, as well as a Hawk running game that has averaged over 240 yards per game during that span.
Before returning to Hudson Catholic, where he coached from 1996-99, Chevalier served as the Run Game Coordinator at Division I-AA Saint Peter's College from 1999-2002. During his tenure at Saint Peter's, the New Jersey school set numerous rushing records and was ranked as high as 5th in the nation in rushing during 2002. In 2001, Saint Peter's was an unprecedented 10-1, while also being ranked 3rd in the country for Division I-AA.
Chevalier broke into the coaching ranks at his alma mater, Queen of Peace High School in North Arlington, NJ, where he served as a varsity assistant from 1995-97. He holds a bachelor's degree from Montclair State University and is currently employed by the Bergen County Technical School District. |
